GLEN DORNOCH
HWY 17North Little River SC 29566
1-800-698-5957
Designed by Clyde Johnston in 1996, Glen Dornoch is a tribute to the legendary Donald Ross. Glen Dornoch is a traditional course where each hole flows with the natural terrain of lakes, centuries-old live oaks, and spectacular marsh and river views. Glen Dornoch is different than most coastal golf courses, which are mostly flat, because of its rare-for-the-area 35-foot elevation changes along South Carolina’s most beautiful stretch of the Intracoastal Waterway.
This 270-acre site is blessed with a dense stand of oaks, pines, and magnolias. With respect for the land, the course was built one hole at a time. At Myrtle Beach's Glen Dornoch, each hole flows with the natural terrain of lakes, live oaks, and spectacular marsh and river views. If you've ever dreamed of playing one of the world's truly great courses.... that dream can now be a reality. This is truly a wonderful site for a championship golf course. Each hole seems to have been crafted by nature rather than by man. The three finishing holes are among the world's best.
The magnificent clubhouse features a traditionally decorated pro shop with an extensive fashion collection. If you have some time after your round, you can sit on the back porch of the Glen Dornoch Club House, and have a cocktail while watching the boats on the intracoastal, or the golfers putting on greens in front of the clubhouse.
