Tournament Players Club
1199 TPC Blvd. Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
|
The TPC at Myrtle Beach has two demanding expectations to live up to as a golf course. The first is that it is a Tournament Players course and second that it is a Tom Fazio designed course. Well, it is safe to say that the TPC at Myrtle Beach exceeds those expectations. Golfers will experience a round of golf that will make them write home to their buddies about it. The TPC at Myrtle Beach received |
| numerous accolades from such distinguished judges such as Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. Golf Digest awarded it among “The Top Ten Best New Upscale Courses” for when it opened in 1999. In the same year it opened, the TPC at Myrtle Beach hosted the 1999 Du Pont World Amateur Championship and the Toyota National Golf Skills Challenge. |
A common characteristic for Myrtle Beach golf courses is the presence of water and the TPC is no exception. Golfers will need to beware for there is an abundance of traditional Southern water features. Water and wetlands factor into eleven holes but can be found throughout course. Besides the sparkling water features, there is an abundance of tall pine trees which make TPC at Myrtle Beach a beautiful course to play and to soak in the scenery.
