Wildlife abounds in this environmental correct, typically "Old South", beautiful and challenging golf course, complete with exemplary southern hospitality. With a combination of tight and wide-open fairways, Wedgefield is able to accommodate golfers with a variety of different skill levels. With water coming into play on a few holes, the signature 14 th hole requires two carries to the center of a dogleg, a second shot toward the green, and 2 more shots at par. The par 5 17 th required surgical precision as its fairways channel narrowly along the century old remanants of two rice fields from the old plantation. With every hole having its own picturesque style, Wedgefield Plantation Golf Club is golf at its best. |
